1902 Establishment of the company. Stout (1923, 85) and Reis & Leighton (1909, 53) give the establishment of the company as in 1902.
1903 March 28 Tod (1988, 113) lists the incorporation as occurring in March 1903 and Mills (1970, 160) just lists it as 1903. Mills based his information on a notation in a catalog that was part of John Lapp's catalog file. The Annual Report of the the Ohio Secretary of State (1903, 794) indicates that articles of incorporation papers were filed March 28, 1903 and that the company had capital stock of $30,000.
1903 High potential transformer installed. It was built by the electrical engineering department of Worcester Polytechnic Institute, in 1898, sold to Mr. C.S. Knowles of Boston, and installed by Messrs. J.A. Sandford and W. T. Goddard, assistants to Professor Harold B. Smith of the Institute ("Industrial Notes" 1904, vi).
1905 "The directors of the New Lexington (O.) High Voltage Porcelain Co. have reorganized and will again commence manufacture. C. Lowry has been employed as superintendent" ("Ohio Pottery" 1905, 19).
1906 Capital stock increased from $30,000 to $60,000 according to a February 27 filing with the Ohio Secretary of State (Annual Report 1907, 517).

1912, October 5 G.S. Courtright, a trustee of the corporation, purchased the property through a sherrif's sale after the company experienced financial difficulties leading the Perry County bank to sue to recover money due it on a mortgage.
1913, November 27 "The Middle West Utilities Company, Chicago, Ill., has plans under way for refitting the plant of the High Voltage Porcelain Company, New Lexington, Ohio. Nothing is known as to machinery requirements" ("Chicago" 1913, 1259).
1914, November 14 The property was sold for $1 to Consumers Insulator Co.
1916, December 8 The property was sold to Virginian Potteries of Charleston, West Virginia
1918, March 23 Virginian Potteries adjudged bankrupt
1918, June 19 General Porcelain purchases the property at a a sherrif's sale. It stripped the plant of its inventory.
1918, July 25 General Porcelain sells the property under the condition that the property not be used to manufacture electrical porcelain or door knobs for five years.

  1903 Supt. Transactions 1903, 10. Watts was a good person for the company to hire. He had jsut spend a year designing and erecting a 12 kiln china ware plant (Watts 1903).
