Illinois Electric Porcelain Bulldog

This Bulldog measures 3 1/2" long by 2 1/2" high. I believe it is pot metal with a Bronze finish.  It has its original dark brown patina. It is marked in raised letters on front: IT HAS A GRIP LIKE ITS NAMESAKE. It is also marked around back in raised letters Illinois Electric Co. MACOMB, ILL (see picture). It has an old porcelain insulator under the Bulldogs chin. The top of the insulator is also marked in raised letters: Pat. Feb 3, 1920. This piece has wonderful detail showing hair, ribcage, and even teeth. There is old green felt on bottom. This sold on eBay on December 15, 2003 for $286.00.
