12th Annual Maryland Line, MD Insulator Show held March 3, 2001
Sponsored by the Chesapeake Bay Insulator Club

Display #1

A combined display of Harloe insulators.

Display #2

This display by CBIC club member Rick Soller of Gurnee, Illinois consisted of miniature plastic insulators made by Bob Fast of Columbus, Ohio.

Bob Fast made these in the 1970s in a variety of shapes and colors and embossings.  Some were embossed with the names of shows and some were embossed with the nickname of the insulator.  Rick also had some of the aluminum prototypes used to make the rubber molds.  A prototype of the CD 252, Castle insulator, CD 147, and ?? can be seen in the picture below.

As the only competitive displayer, Rick received a plaque containing the club logo.

Display #3

A seldom seen display of insulators made by the Baltimore Glass Manufacturing Co. (B.G.M.Co.).  The display was put together by several members of the CBIC and included an informative map of the location of the plant.
